It took everything that fans of the game loved about Tetris and put it into a visually stunning and responsive virtual world. If the name sounds at all familiar to you it’s because Tetris Effect first debuted in 2018 and it blew minds. What I will say is that Tetris Effect: Connected for the PSVR2 is the absolute best way to play Tetris.
You either already know, or you don’t in which case you need to stop reading right now and go find the game and play it then you can come back. Now I’m not going to waste anyone’s time explaining what Tetris is. So it’s no surprise that the very first game I went into when I got the PlayStation VR 2 was Tetris Effect: Connected and not because I thought it would make a cool VR game or that I expected to be blown away but just because it was Tetriis. My love for the game got so bad at a stage that it was outlawed in my house because I wasn’t getting around to doing all the important stuff one needs to do in life and instead you could find me, somewhere in a corner, desperately trying to beat the next high score. I like Tetris probably a little too much. Let me start this off by saying I am a huge Tetris fan.
